This presentation was made with Voice Thread. I really enjoyed this program because it was easy to use. I was able to start the program and follow the steps without the need to consult a FAQ or tutorial. I can really imagine myself utilizing this application in my future career as a teacher.
When I first started using Voice Thread I was a little self conscious, I am definitely not used to hearing my own voice! But I liked how you made your presentation interactive, I think it really made the lesson more interesting!
ReplyDeleteI really liked Voice Thread once I figured it out. But while previewing my mini lesson with audio I could only hear my voice on every other slide, so I re-recorded my voice on the slides that I could not hear my voice on the first time. Then I tried previewing again and the whole presentation got messed up because my voice was recorded twice for every other slide.... so I had to completely start over. I re-uploaded my slide show presentation and just re-recorded my audio for every slide and then the audio seemed to play alright. It was just kind of a hassle/waste of time to have to re-record my voice. I do really like the idea of being able to record your voice to slide shows, but I found the program difficult to figure out at first, and I do not really know if I could ever see myself using this technology in the classroom.
